Don't think I've given up on the were story. It's kind of quiet right now, but I'm still thinking it out.

I want the were characters to be a little less human. They aren't human, after all, even if they can fake it sometimes. That's something I want to work on. I'm not sure how exactly to portray their were-ness in a way that isn't animalistic, though--because they aren't animals. They aren't humans in animal bodies, though, either. There's a sort of wildness about them that I don't quite have words for yet.
